There is one God, the Creator of the universe, good, all-knowing, all-powerful, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the son existed from the beginning, became a man, lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose from the grave, reigns over all, and is the savior of his followers (John 1:1,14).
The Bible is a sacred collection of 66 books, written over a period of 1500 years. We believe these books are God’s revelation to mankind, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and man’s only guide to doing the will of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Since everyone has sinned and been separated from God, God sent Christ to be an offering for our sins. We accept God’s saving grace through faith, repentance, confession, and baptism. By doing this we are united with Christ’s death and brought into a right relationship with God (Romans 6:1-18; 8:1-4). Out of love, we remain obedient till death.
Christ’s church is made up of all those who believe and have been baptized into Christ (Galatians 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13). Our congregation of Jesus’ church is independent, under only the authority of God’s word. We are spiritually led by our own elders and ministers as directed by the New Testament.
All will die and face God’s judgment (2 Corinthians 5:10; Hebrews 9:27). Some will spend eternity in a place of torment (Matthew 25:41). Those in Christ will spend eternity in the heavenly city prepared by God for his people (Matthew 25:34; Revelation 21:1-5).
